About the event

Join Dr. Antonia Novello, the first female, first Hispanic Surgeon General of the United States, Carlotta Walls LaNier(invited), the youngest of the Little Rock Nine, and Linda Alvarado, who changed the gender makeup in construction and was the first female owner of a MLB team for a panel discussion in celebration of International Women’s Day. Hear stories and advice from these three National Women’s Hall of Fame inductees about how they overcame obstacles, shattered glass ceilings, and work tirelessly for their communities. Each panelist is a pioneer in her own right, making significant contributions to society and striving to create more equality for women across the United States.

This event is in partnership with the University of Denver Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science and The Colorado Women's Hall of Fame.
