As part of my interview series, I had the pleasure of interviewing Jill S. Tietjen, PE. Jill is an author, national speaker, and electrical engineer. She has published twelve books, her latest being Over, Under, Around, and Through: How Hall of Famers Surmount Obstacles which will be released on May 3, 2022. She has been inducted into the Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame and the Colorado Authors’ Hall of Fame.
These 5 tips are gold for any aspiring writer out there, especially the parts about persistence and managing your mindset. Writing can be so incredibly rewarding but also mentally exhausting. Honestly, whenever I’m hit with a bad case of writer's block or my brain just freezes, I usually take a quick 10-minute break on sites like minigame to play a few mindless browser games. It’s funny how stepping away and letting your brain relax can actually help spark fresh creative ideas. Thanks for sharing Jill’s wonderful insights!
